This page outlines some of the work that I've done for the Michigan Chemistry Council as a Website Management Intern in the summer of 2018. As a website intern, I was responsible for updating page content across the Chemistry Connections website Wordpress.
"Michigan Chemistry Careers" page. The content on this page was gathered from member websites and explained in further detail. I was responsible for the organization of content and addition of images to each section. I also created the links to external articles under each description.
"Chemistry Industry History" timeline page. Each of the dates and captions were organized in a google doc, for which I was responsible for transferring to this timeline, and adding in appropriate corresponding images.
I was instructed to add in the bolded headers. From there, I was responsible for researching and adding the content displayed above.
"Resources By Subject" page. Here, I was responsible for adding in page titles and selecting resources to fill in each individual page.
"Resource by Grade Level" page. On this page, I filled in text to denote page button and link functions, as well brief descriptions. On each grade page, I selected tutorials, articles, etc. to display as resources.
Above is a promotional graphic that I created for Michigan Chemistry Council's social media. This graphic's purpose was to promote their new educational website, chemistryconnections.org, following current branding guidelines.
